This is a beautiful little harbor. At first it seemed rather busy, but now we decided to return to it for our New Years Eve, so it must not be as crazy as we thought.

We spent Christmas Eve with these wonderful cruisers. Karen and Robert on Katrinna, Bob and Shannon on Katchina, Cindy and Rick on Cool Change and Bev and Dan on Malo. We went to a great restaurant in Chalaca. The following day we had a fun pot luck on Katrinna and played some Mexican Train Dominoes.

Here is another view of our delightful harbor.

I was delighted to get an ice cream from this ice-cream cart. It was very good.

Another view of the harbor.

Here is a restaurant that was on the beach.

And, another view of the harbor below.

Here is a little grocery store in town!

Shannon what a wonderful spirit she is! We had a lot of fun SUPPING. She has travelled the world and is not planning to stop anytime soon.

Shannon and Bob from Kachina took me on a walk in town.

There was wild fruit stands like this.

Everywhere we go, there are people selling things. It grows old actually. I think they see GINGO on our faces. Tattoos, beads, weavings, muffins, sweets, wooden objects, clothes etc - it really does not matter - people try to sell us stuff. The truth is, I really do not want anything. But I did buy a few beaded pieces of jewelry for my two daughters. At some point I will see them, to give it to them!

Here I stand next to some nice Mexican outfits. Below is another sampling of Mexican artwork.

That is the end of Chalaca Post. But little did we know that this place was a lot cooler than the next and we decided to return for the New Years.
